A New Crater

20/8/2014

Launching a camera on my 3L water rocket at the scenic Henbury Meteorite Crater, NT. Unfortunately my rocket, all too eager, added to the nearby craters when the parachute broke away.
Update
My updates have been slow and irregular but I have no intention of leaving Water Rocketry. At the moment I have been learning and working on equations for supersonic flows in a Converging-Diverging Nozzle. I hope to begin testing these equations by making and testing C-D Nozzles.
I want to rebuild my large Water Rocket again.
I also want to make a Water Rocket Glider and write a page about wings and lift force.
I intend to build an idea I have for a Staging Device.
I will also add a page on the safe use of sparkler rockets (Yes, there not Water Rockets but I find them as another enjoyable form of Rocketry).
Since my Timer Recovery System was destroyed in the video above, I will restart my work on the Altimeter Recovery System with a new design.

I'd like to thank Joseph and Obat for their kind comments in the Altimeter post. The reason I made this site was so others could learn and enjoy Water Rocketry as much as I do. I hope this site will be helpful to people and I will try to give more updates on my developments in Water Rocketry.
